We offer free battery disposal for all clients as part of our commitment to safety and environmental responsibility. Old batteries are dangerous to store and harmful if thrown in the trash — so we take care of that for you.

What We Accept

• Phone, tablet, and laptop batteries

• Power tool packs

• Wearables & accessory batteries

• Alkaline (AA/AAA), coin cells, remote batteries

• Small sealed lead acid batteries

What We Do NOT Accept

• Actively burning, smoking, or melting batteries

• Vehicle starter batteries

• Large-format e-bike or scooter packs (coming soon)

How We Handle Your Batteries Safely

Our technicians follow strict internal safety protocols modeled after OSHA guidelines:

• Batteries are placed in a fire-resistant exterior lockbox, never inside the vehicle cabin.

• External temperature monitoring prevents overheating.

• Damaged batteries are isolated and transported using specialized containment procedures.

• All batteries are recycled at certified facilities — never landfilled.

Your Responsibility

Please hand the battery directly to the technician and let them handle it from there.
If your battery is hot, swollen, or smoking, inform us immediately and keep it outdoors.

This service is included for all Edison Systems clients — no purchase necessary.
